Saying Farewell

I’ve been blogging in the productivity space for over 20 years under four different domains. That’s a really long time. And while I have enjoyed doing this, it is time to move on.

In January I start a masters program that will require a lot of time and energy. So I will be taking a step back from the blog. Here’s what you can expect:

  • I will not be producing new articles on the blog
  • I will not be sending newsletters or emails with new blog content
  • I will not be publishing Patreon articles
  • I will be unpublishing my Patreon page so that my patrons do not get charged (this means that access to the Patreon archives will also be disrupted)
  • The blog will be rearranged: the blog articles will be under a secondary tab and the store will be the front page
  • The store will continue to be updated. I will be producing the OneNote productivity/calendars as well as new forms, tools and books

FAQ

  • Why do this now instead of at the end of the year? I have requirements I need to fulfill before January, namely learning two new programming languages and getting back up to speed on linear algebra.
  • Will you ever be back? I don’t know. I am not as enthusiastic about writing about the topics as I used to be. If I do come back, expect the topics to shift.
  • Will you still produce the yearly calendar/OneNote content? Yes. Look for it at the end of November.

Thank you all for your support over the years. It’s been a fun journey for me, and I have really enjoyed getting to know some of you in person.

LauraEarnest.com Deliberate Living Made Simpler. VIEW IN BROWSER Writing Notes for My Future Self The team made an effort last month to clean out the backlog of tasks. We divided everything up with the goal of seeing if things were still a problem, and determining the impact of the issue. One of the problems is that the descriptions are so sparse that we’re not really sure why it entered the backlog at all. One of them in particular I wrote, and I clearly recall why it was entered, but there...
